A bookstore is not a library
May 25, 2008 10:41 pm Life, RantI was at a MPH Bookstore this morning looking at some books. Suddenly, my baby started crying. So we went to the children books section to look at some books and try to cheer her up a little. Then came this man and gave me that stare. The ‘please be quiet’ librarian stare.
So I moved to another section with the baby still crying. He then appear again and gave me the stare.
Tiu niamah!!! You were also once a baby and you also cried. Secondly, MPH is not a library. You want peace and quiet, go to a farking library. MPH is a bookstore where they sell books.
Please learn to differentiate between a library and a bookstore. And don’t farking give me the stare. I have a Glock underneath the stroller. Niamah!!!

If I am you, I’ll purposely let the baby continue crying and then stare back at him and ask him LOUDLY ‘Kua hami kua? Never see baby crying before ah?’

Terence, I think he must be the cheapskate who do not want to buy books, just want to sit on the floor or stand around to finish reading that’s why he marah la. Feel you ganggu his mission to finish the book. All kinds of people also got.
